What Goes Over the Network
The complete list of what SearchOnMac sends, and what it never sends.

Every network request
Searching never uses the network. The app goes online for only these reasons:

Important: Never sent: your searches, file names, file contents, screen text, clipboard, or usage analytics. SearchOnMac has no analytics or tracking SDKs.
Choose what is searched
Each source can be switched off in Settings → Search, and nothing is recorded for a source that is off:

Working offline
Search works fully offline. The license is checked from time to time; if your Mac is offline, a grace period keeps SearchOnMac working until it can check again.
